About greenStruct

3 Easy Steps to Use Our Software

Video thumbnail of greenStruct add project and calculation interface

1. Add a Project and a Calculation

Get started by adding a project and corresponding calculation.

Our intuitive interface provides a clear overview where all your projects are displayed in one place.

Easily search for projects or calculations by project name, calculation name, creator, calculation type, or other criteria, ensuring fast access to what you need.

2. Input Data with Ease

Populate your calculations with data using our user-friendly input system. Tabs allow you to seamlessly navigate through different input types, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow without confusion or clutter.

As you enter data, diagrams dynamically update to visually represent the dimensions you're typing in, helping you verify your input instantly. Once all required data is entered, results are displayed for your review. Some programs even include automatic design optimization, offering intelligent solutions to refine your designs effortlessly.

3. Print Automatically Generated Documentation

Once your data is complete, generate polished, professional documentation with a single click. The software automatically compiles all your inputs into a structured, ready-to-print format, saving you time and effort while ensuring accuracy and consistency.

FAQ

Find out all about our online software.

When and how can I get access to the software?

Right away! Simply register here and try the software for free. After the Free Trial you can subscribe with your preferred plan to continue enjoying our software.

What if the specific concrete element program I seek is not listed?

Our software is developed to make the design of the specific listed concrete structures as easy and efficient as possible. If the concrete structure you look to design is not part of the listed element programs we can help you make the design.

We usually use Finite Element Method (FEM) to calculate the section forces of the concrete structure depending on the support and load conditions after which we design the concrete structure using our own greenSection.

If you know or can calculate the section forces of the strucutre, you can make the design with steel or fiber reinforcement alone, or a combination with both steel and fiber reinforcement using our greenSection.

How do I upgrade my Free Trial?

Upgrading your free trial is easy! Simply go to Account Management at greenStruct and click the "Upgrade Plan" button to select your desired plan.

If you need assistance or have questions, feel free to contact us at mail@ppcd.dk, and we'll be happy to help!

Which programs does greenStruct include?

Our pricing structure ensures you get access to all our programs, no matter which plan you choose. Currently, greenStruct includes the following:

  • greenSlab: Our slabs-on-ground program for precise and efficient calculations.
  • greenStrip: The wall footing/strip foundation program designed for streamlined analysis.
  • greenPad: A robust tool for pad and point foundation calculations.
  • greenSection: The cross-section analysis program for advanced structural evaluations.

With greenStruct, you always have access to the full suite of tools to meet all your calculation needs.

What are Print Credits?

Our pricing structure gives you access to all our programs, unlimited users, and unlimited projects and calculations. However, the ability to print automatically generated documentation is tied to the number of Print Credits included in your plan.

Each plan comes with a specific number of Print Credits, which determine how many times you can generate and print documentation. This system ensures flexibility while keeping the core features of greenStruct fully accessible to all users.

By using Print Credits, our pricing is directly tied to the value you generate, offering a balance between providing essential features for everyone and allowing you to tailor your costs to your specific needs. This structure promotes efficiency, scalability, and predictable costs for users of all sizes.

What is Documentation Branding?

With our "Business" plan or above, you gain access to Documentation Branding, allowing you to personalize the automatically generated documentation to reflect your company's branding.

This feature allows you to customize the fonts and colors in the documentation, ensuring they align with your brand identity and provide a professional, cohesive look to your clients and stakeholders.

Can I use fiber reinforcement instead of conventional steel bar/mesh reinforcement?

Macro-synthetic polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete (MSFRC) can in many cases completely substitute conventional steel reinforcement but it is important to know that macro-synthetic polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete behaves with a tension softening mechanism at usual dosages.

This means that in order to make designs with fiber reinforcement alone, the system has to be static indeterminate and/or have the possibility of plastic redistribution of the loads. Ground supported slabs (slabs-on-ground) and foundations are perfect examples of this.

When these conditions are not met, fiber reinforcement can be used in combination with steel reinforcement to at least reduce the amount of steel required.

In which concrete structures can I use fiber reinforcement?

Using Finite Element Method (FEM), we can design just about anything but it is important to know that macro-synthetic polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete behaves with a tension softening mechanism at usual workable dosages.

This means that in order to make designs with fiber reinforcement alone, the system has to be static indeterminate and/or have the possibility of plastic redistribution of the loads, such as ground supported slabs (slabs-on-ground) and foundations.

For static determinate structures and when these conditions are not met, fiber reinforcement can be used in combination with steel reinforcement to reduce the amount of steel required.
