Tranehaven daycare center reinforced with steel bars and DURUS® EasyFinish fiber reinforcement.

Parts of the foundations had to be self-bearing and hence reinforced with steel reinforcement, but the parts of the foundation that was directly supported by the ground was reinforced with DURUS® EasyFinish macro synthetic fiber reinforcement. A lot of concrete and reinforcenet was saved.

All verifications were performed in PPCD’s online calculation software:

• greenSlab for the slab/slabs-on-ground calculations
• greenStrip for the strip foundation calculations
• greenSection for the self-bearing plates and beams
